True 25Hz GNSS Receiver
At its core, the RaceBox Mini is powered by the UBlox M9N – a modern GNSS module from the gold standard of manufacturers. Combined with a superior antenna design, the RaceBox Mini consistently provides sub 0.5 meter accuracy is even the most demanding conditions, even dropping to 0.1 meter in ideal conditions.
Onboard Inertial Measurement Unit
The onboard 6-axis IMU captures up to 8G of acceleration in each direction and 320 degrees per second of rotation. Due to its mass, best results are achieved when the RaceBox Mini is mounted directly to a solid surface.
Flexible Mounting Options
The RaceBox Mini can be easily mounted to the vehicle dash or roof using the magnetic base or any of the provided mounting pads.
A 1/4″-20 UNC mount is also built into the base of the RaceBox Mini to allow roll bars mounting via standard camera attachments. External mounting options are possible thanks to the IP-54 rating that it achieved when the included rubber USB port seal is installed.
We suggest that you tether your RaceBox Mini to your vehicle. We are not responsible for damages resulting from devices becoming detached from the vehicle.
Extreme Battery Life
The high-capacity LiPo battery allows the RaceBox Mini to last up to provide year in standby mode or 20 hours of connected use on a single charge. This allows you to charge the receiver well in advance of an event, and not have to worry about having to top it of. CircuitStorm and SoloStorm will quickly wake it from sleep mode and establish a connection. This is literally the most user friendly GNSS receiver that we have ever tested!
Bluetooth Low Energy
Due to the use of Bluetooth LE, the RaceBox Mini is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. Support for CircuitStorm and SoloStorm are only offered for Android devices. The official RaceBox is available for iOS devices.
